I’m Olivia, a luxury wedding photographer and videographer.
I've been shooting weddings around the world for the past four years as my full-time job.
Since having my own camera as a young child, I’ve always loved making little home movies and taking photos on family holidays.
I feel so lucky that this passion has become my career, taking me to some of the world’s most prestigious wedding venues across several continents and allowing me to work alongside some of Europe’s best wedding planners.
I'm truly passionate about what I do, especially the creative storytelling side of documenting!
Lets get personal
I love to travel. I’m actually traveling the world full time right now with my husband! I’ve been to 37 countries and lived in 3 different continents! Although we’re technically ‘based’ in the UK, most of the weddings we film are in Italy!
I’m half Greek (my mum is from Cyprus and my dad is from England!) If you need any recommendations for good Greek islands to visit, I’m your gal!
My husband and I love to be in nature. You can find us surfing, hiking, cycling, or paragliding! When we’re not traveling, we spend most of our time in the Yorkshire dales in England.
I’m OBSESSED with board games, especially the mathematical nerdy ones!
I got married quite young, at 23! I LOVE love.
I come from a big family with five siblings. We’re all pretty close, even to this day! I love families and really believe in the importance of them!
My Style
I’ve always considered myself to be a storyteller.
Ever since I was a kid, I would make videos with my siblings. They were only playful home videos of us practising dance routines, pranks, and just being kids! But looking back, I can see I've always had a creative flair for video.
I actually started this business offering just videography, and I did that very successfully for the first few years. Eventually, I began photographing weddings too, and pretty quickly, most of my couples were hiring me for both photo and video! So it felt like a natural evolution into a full photo and film business.
I completely fell in love with photography. I love the process of capturing a single moment frozen in time. I’d describe my style as feminine and stylish. I love quiet, simple moments, but I also love images full of energy, life, and story.
I first started documenting weddings while living with my four flatmates at university. Four of them were engaged, so I took my camera to their weddings and made each of them a short cinematic video to share on social media.
They loved them. And so did their friends and family – and their friends and family. People were suddenly asking me for my availability before even booking their venue! It just snowballed.
Here I am years later, shooting weddings all over the world and making memories last a lifetime. I am so grateful I get to do what I love for a living!
My Wedding Day
I’m just going to use this space to to tell you a story about how I met my husband Jordan – and why rain on your wedding day can be the BEST thing that ever happens…
My husband Jordan and I met through mutual friends at a church event.
He was standing up at a table telling a funny story – I thought he was so charismatic and good-looking! I tried to talk to him afterwards, but he didn't seem interested (he told me later that he was just really nervous!) A few weeks later, we started talking online. I was so excited!
The week we started talking was the first week of lockdown here in the UK.
So we were texting a lot, which turned into voice notes, and then facetime every night. When lockdown restrictions lifted, we started going on dates, and our relationship grew – really fast. We got engaged and married a year and a half later – the same week that lockdown ended! It was so symbolic of the week we first started talking! Our wedding was not only a celebration, but also a reunion because our family and friends hadn't seen each other in so long. It was amazing.
Our wedding day
We had a big outdoor wedding in my hometown. So like any wedding in the UK, we were manifesting for good weather (it’s always so hit-and-miss!) We thought we had got away with it until the very end of the day when thick clouds filled the sky. When I tell you it rained, I’m not talking light rain, I’m talking cinematic heavy rain.
So we did what any other crazy couple would do…we did our first dance…in the rain! What makes this even more amazing is our photographer, Natalie, didn’t have time to sync up the flash with the camera, so she was taking pictures of us while the best man held the flash behind us, hoping to get the perfect backlit shot.
The chances of them clicking at the same time were so low, and they didn’t match up for all the pictures, except for this one!!
The stars aligned and we got the most amazing photo I will cherish forever. It was an unexpected cool thing that happened to me. I want to capture these moments, just like this, for you!
I remember the feeling of looking back at all the photos and videos from my wedding day for the first time and being simply overjoyed that I have those memories forever, I even saw things that I didn’t see myself on the day. Having a someone there to document the day is like seeing it from another perspective with another set of eyes, capturing little moments that you might have missed! I want to give you that same experience. This is one of the only things you’ll have to remember the most important day of your life. Whoever you choose to document your wedding day, make sure you can trust them to capture it well!
